These are the terete or Rat tail variety Australian Orchids. Instead of the normal cane and leaf, they produce fused canes and leaves to make a long round rat tail like structures.
Both epiphytic and lithophytic they produce beautiful sprays of upside down,fragrant blooms.
Easy to grow, they are best mounted on either black Cyathea tree fern or virgin cork mounts.

Prices start at $5.50 for seedlings and $11.00 for mature mounted plants - ready to bloom.
The color range varies from snow white through to a deep liver red/purple and all the shades of gold and copper. Highly fragrant they are an interesting addition to any cold growing orchid collection.
